When Worlds Collide: The Next Generation

Kara(Supergirl): Cousin of Superman and Thor. With her mother being Frigga's sister.

Bruce Wayne:  Son of Thomas and Martha Wayne whom survived that faithful night primarily due to a combination of things. John Constantine + Lightning Bolt Spell + Precognition Visions on John Implemented by Loki

Thanks to this John Constantine has been employed into the Wayne Family; this also becoming Bruce's mentor in learning the occult.

Diana: Daughter of Hippolyta and Hercules. This Hercules

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Comicbook/TheIncredibleHercules

And the youngest of the next-gen, twelve.

Rogue: A runaway who has a hard time trying to find her place in the world. Then when a speedster named Jay Gerrick recruited her it appeared that perhaps she has found herself a new family in the process. Personality wise she's like a southern version of Faith.

The Kid Flash(Brodie Lang): Daughter of Ant-Man and The Wasp. Wants nothing more than to be like her parents and follow in their superhero footsteps while becoming her own person in the process

Red Tornado(Victor Mancha): "Younger Brother" of Avengers member Vision.

Cyborg: The tech expert of the group

Nightcrawler, Toad, Blob: The Amazing Trio as they'd declare themselves. Adopted members of the Wayne Family when, during a visit the circus they grew up in, Thomas discovered their mistreatment and pulled their strings to not only have the participants of the trio's mistreatment fired but get them arrested and have their reputations destroyed.

Inspiration wise the group is Young Justice done right.

When Worlds Collide

Sup I'm going to pitch you my crossover fic that is When Worlds Collide. It is a massive crossover fic where the characters of Marvel and DC co-exist in one universe.

There have been other crossovers based on this concept but in my version its more than just putting characters into one universe. Its a whole alternate universe all-together and the characters play a part in how said universe gets developed.

The Idea

At the start of the series its based in a modern golden age of superheroes. The superheroes do their usual routine by fighting super villains and whatnot but there haven't been a serious threat where a group of heroes would band together since the Hydra Regime in WWII or the Skrull Invasion that interrupted and pretty much prevented a Vietnam War from happening.

So you're seeing a rise of new generation of heroes in Superman(whom is college age at this point), Spider-Man, Tony Stark, The Flash, etc. And in the first half it just showcase the world of WWC and its characters. Then build up to the big arc later.

The Tone

I want the universe to have that Timm style blend of humor and drama but without being overly immature and not too angsty either. Like what the DCAU was in the past. Especially as each character has their own distinct character trait. They're not overly brooding and not overly comical. And its those little differences that help make up the world. So the universe is idealistic but its not afraid to deliver a hard truth on occasion

I also want to build this universe with this trope in mind.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NothingIsTheSameAnymore

What if there is no status quo within the Marvel and DC Universe? What if characters die for good or pass their legacy to someone else? If you're expecting a kid gloves version of the Marvel/DC Universe then think again. In this universe the gloves come off and sometimes unfortunate consequences happen. Its how the heroes and other characters deal with them is what makes the universe special.

The Focus

The series will primarily focus on the current generation of heroes and how they'll establish their legacy. Which is the key theme, how does ones legacy shape the world?

Emerald Heights

Sup my name is Myrdin Vimes and today I'm going to be pitching a spy series I'd like to call Emerald Heights. In tone its an affectionate parody of the Martini based spy films that is The Incredibles but as a spy flick more than a superhero flick.

The Idea

The series is about Victoria Winchester and her adventures both within and outside of the spy agency she works in an agency called Emerald Heights. Emerald Heights is a private N.G.O Superpower company that is sponsored by the world government who hunts down shadow organizations and takes them out. Then operates as a SCP Foundation like organization on their spare time.

Avengers Age of Ultron

Avengers, perhaps the flagship of the MCU and laid the foundation of said universe alone. The first movie was breathtaking. I felt like I just got off a really fun rollercoaster ride after seeing the first Avengers movie. When Age of Ultron came around I was hoping I'd get that same feeling. Well....this vid says it better.

And given the ending of Winter Soldier it just made it seem a little disappointing doesn't it?

Now this isn't me saying this version is going to be the all time great version of Age of Ultron because I'm pretty sure someone created better ones somewhere on the internet but this is just me showcasing how Age of Ultron could be improved by fixing a few little quirks that made the movie disappointing.

Before I start things off I just want to point out a few things: Coulson is dead as dillinger. Agents of Shield never happened. And the less we remember of the ABC Marvel shows the better. There will also be NO CIVIL WAR. Cause at this point The Avengers have evolved to where they don't need to constantly fight eachother whenever they're in the same room. They have became a family, a semi-dysfunctional family but still a family.

I also want to start things off by getting rid of the really bad decisions that made AOU disappoiting. I'll start with three things:  SHIELD. After the events of Winter Soldier to really sell that the organization has been disbanded the members of SHIELD are either in hiding or got other jobs. Like Agent Hill working for Stark. Because of this they're no longer The Avengers go to organization which opens the possibility of The Avengers becoming a more independent N.G.O group. The Mind Gem. Putting the Mind Gem on Vision ? No...Just No. And finally Hydra. They had an opportunity to make Hydra a force to be reckoned with. The Anti-Shield to be precise. Yet they contradicted it by having them be easily defeated in the prologue of the movie. I'm going to make Hyra the bases where they ended up becoming the primary antagonist of The Avengers.

Act 1

We open the same way the movie opened up. The Avengers on the hunt for Hydra but here is a catch that would make things a little personal. Hydra has now stolen Tony's tech. Remember that massive explosion which caused Tony to have all of his armor destroyed? Basically Hydra has been observing the whole incident and they have managed to scavenge the armor that was exploded.

Several Hydra Agents dressed in Iron Man armor are attacking a European city. Trying to take out civilians while flying in the air, destroying buildings, you know usual villain stuff. Then the Avengers proceed to try and save as many as they can while also fighting the armored Hydra Agents.

Baron Von Strucker watches this on the monitors silently and is impressed at how his armored agents managed to fair pretty well against the Avengers. The only difference makers are Thor and Hulk. As hard as the armored agents are they are unable to slow them down. Despite the odds gradually getting into The Avengers favor Strucker continues to remain calm and collected.

We see Iron Man fight an armored Hydra Agent who has been matching him toe to toe and trading insults at Tony Stark, mocking over how his own creations are once again harming innocents. Which is a shout out and continuity nod to the first movie on how it was Tony's own weapons that a terrorist group used was what inspired Tony to become the techno pacifist he has become. However in this movie this is when we'd see a more dangerous side of Tony Stark.

As the fight draws Tony isn't looking at trying to apprehend the guy but he's looking at wanting to kill him. Sparing him was completely out of the question. A quick flash of the events of the Avengers movie and IM3 showcases as Tony slams this agent to the ground and he just starts raining punches on the guy. The tipping point that Tony is jumping off the slippery slope is when Tony stops joking around. In fact during the final climax Tony was just straight up fighting the guy

At the Hydra Base we see Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch watch along with Strucker. We see Wanda's reactions to this and all she does is just look at Tony Stark with seething hatred while Pietro is there to comfort her. We cut to Strucker, still expressionless but there is a hint of glee in his eyes.

Tony proceeds to rip the agent's armor apart and the agent lies on the ground messed up as hell, looking scared as shit. He begs Tony to spare him. Tony responds"I think I'll take a raincheck on that" he is about to blast him to death but he ends up being restrained by Thor then Captain America tries to calm Tony down.. The Avengers before this was finishing up on their battles and the minute their fight is won they managed to see the closing part of Tony's fight.

Tony, would try to ease the whole situation by saying a joke or two but the gang isn't buying it one bit. Tony convinces the gang that he has calmed down. Thor lets go. But the expression on his face reads whatever he's dealing with isn't over. They round up the armored Hydra Agents then they leave the city.

We also see various media footage of the battle and while the Avengers have managed to save some civilians it is also estimated that some civilians have died and got injured during the attacks. With the media being the media they try to spin it by saying if The Avengers are to blame. Some reporters would go on record to say that things were never this bad before The Avengers came into existence. The public opinion regarding The Avengers has been divided.

One final footage is of Baron Von Strucker who watches the media coverage and smiles. To him it wasn't about wins but about ruining the image of The Avengers. He'd then talk with the Twins about conducting another phase into the plan that concerns destroying The Avengers. The creation of Ultron. Based on the designs that he had stolen from Tony Stark.

Note: Ultron was a creation that Tony had always wanted to do during his weapon designer days but ever since he became Iron Man he had cast away the idea as he deemed it too dangerous and it doesn't clash well with his newfound morality. Cause what makes Ultron scary? Its because he represents the idea of this Big Brother, watching every move we make and one mistake could cost us, mindset; his one basic drive is to oversee and protect society by any means.

X-Men Legacy Cast

Key X-Men

Scott Summers(Cyclops):  The leader of the X-Men with a big future ahead of him, even if he doesn't see it at the moment.

Jean Grey: A mutant with extraordinary psychic abilities. In most ways while Scott is the heart of the X-Men it is Jean whom is the soul of the group.

Kurt Wagner(Nightcrawler): The Amazing Nightcrawler during his circus performer days. Was raised in a circus but due to the harsh mistreatment he sustained there he was then adopted by Xavier and in that act him, Fred, and Toad found a home and eventually a new family

Bobby Drake(Iceman): Prankster, constant snarker, pretty much the little brother of the group.

Ororo Munroe(Storm): A former thief whom Xavier gave a chance to turn her life around. She took it without hesitation and has made every steps in improving her life.

Fred Dukes(Blob): Mr.Big Fun and the big brother figure of both Toad and Kurt. Whom happens to be in a friendly rivalry with Nick.

Nicklaus Rasputin(Full Metal): Older brother of Peter and Illyana. Joined the institute as a means to escape from his home country and looks to bring his siblings with him

Toad

Rogue: The Sassy Southerner whom is the epitome of the phrase look but don't touch.

Staff

Professor Charles Xavier: The most powerful Telepath on Earth and Big Good of the currently secret mutant community who runs a school that not only helps mutants control their powers but to also provide safe haven to those whom have been persecuted because of their mutant gene.

Alexis "Alex" Summers: Alumni of the First Class and older sister of Scott Summers.

Moira MacTaggert: Once a member of the CIA whom met with Xavier during an undercover assignment. Now she helps co-run the school and, in Charle's case, is the first step in mutant and humans co-existing.

Logan: A walking enigma with a past so mysterious that even he doesn't know about, as far as he's concerned he's better off. Thanks to some healthy "persuasion" from Alex and Moira he became a member of the Xavier teaching staff.

Training under Logan isn't a picnic but thanks to his tutelage the X-Men have became a formidable team

Beast: A Child Prodigy whom was working for the CIA when he was 13 years of age and became one of Xaviers's first students. Now at the age of 18 he's teaching the next generation of students.

Lady Elizabeth 'Betsy' Braddock: Formerly one of the idle rich and an on again off again member of Excalibur whom decided to take some time off teaching. Either as a co-combat instructor with Logan or help the students defend against psychic attacks or offers psychiatric counseling whenever they needed someone to talk to.

X-Men Legacy

Its a new universe within the Marvel Universe. Having been watching the X-Films if there is a good thing that came out of them its that it shows how the X-Franchise can stand out and become its own universe. Cause the X-Men franchise have such a diverse roster and a rich history that it can form its own world and not rely on the rest of the Marvel Universe.

Inspiration

Part of the inspiration is that I hated how the X-Men are being used in the main Marvel Universe. As of recently they've become no better than the villains they've fought. To be fair I got into the X-Men back in the 90's when their animated tv series aired. It defined the X-Men to me. A rag tag bunch of misfits who would try to save the world eventhough the world doesn't like them very much.

They were the underdogs of the Marvel Universe in no matter how much the world tries to knock them down they'll always get back up and still try to make the world a better place. That is whom the X-Men should be.

Vision

To get an idea in how the universe will be established I've laid out three ground rules.

1. The character evolves as the world does. There is no status quo or reset button when it comes to this universe. Some characters grow old and die then their legacy continues with another character, hence the title X-Men Legacy.

2.  Every action has consequences. Much like real life whatever choices a character makes has consequences that could impact the world, no matter how big or small the consequences is.

3. Sometimes there is shades of gray. The villains that the X-Men will come across are more complex, some will be unapologetically evil while some are more neutral then you have those who are above such alignments.

Arcs

The arcs in question will be more stand alone. Will we see The Phoenix? Most definitely. Does this mean we will get a Dark Phoenix arc that is similar to the comics? No. The Arcs in question will be established to the point that they'll be as captivating as the ones in the comics while having its own voice in the process.

Shining Phoenix Force

Hello, my name is Myrdin Vimes and the pitch I'm going to give to you today is my very own take of Power Rangers called Shining Phoenix Force.

"Phoenix Rising!!"
 —Morphing call

As a teenager growing up I recall getting into Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I was among of the many kids of the 90's that would watch that show religiously. With the larger than life monsters and larger than life characters.

While Mighty Morphin was the hook it was In Space that really sealed me as a Power Rangers fan. What I liked about Power Rangers In Space was the broader scale it brought. It was more than just monsters fighting in a small city. In Space was the series that expanded the Power Rangers universe as a whole and shows Power Rangers on a more cosmic scale.

The Concept

Shining Phoenix Force is going to be more grander in scale when compared to the original series. Instead of the rangers fighting a monster in a city I'd like to see them fight in different environments. Like from planet to planet or perhaps even in another universe to really drive just how high the stakes Shining Phoenix Force will be.

The Tone

Its Star Wars but with a Jim Butcher level of snark and Terry Pratchett level of taking what you'd think you know about Power Rangers but flip them into something that is unique. With a touch of Greg Weisman.

Like with Star Wars, the original trilogy, it will have a balance between light and dark elements that would keep the trilogy from being too comical and too dark to where you just don't give a shit what happens with the characters. For instance when shit gets real in Shining Phoenix Force that is when the heroes put their game faces on. Sure there will be some degree of snarking going on but with survival at stake its no time for jokes. And its, in essence, a fairy tale but in science fiction form.

The villains in this will be broadened a bit. This wont be the sympathy for the devil kind of villains that you usually see. Villains with a degree of depth to em yes but at the end of the day they need to be taken down. The villains in this isn't exactly an evil empire as they consider themselves beyond good and evil. In fact it is the good and evil morality that inspired The Black Sun Federation in going forward with their act cause in their view the multiverse deserves to be wiped out and renewed and nothing is going to sway them from accomplishing their goal.

The Arc

The first movie would have a putting the band together feel of it where the veteran Ranger, Gabriel Lawless, would gather a group of Power Rangers to fight the Black Sun Federation. Some would do it for different reasons. Some for justice, others for revenge, some for survival, others for redemption but no matter what reasons there are they all have a common enemy that needs to be defeated.

The Stakes

If there is anything I love about Mass Effect its that the series evolve due to the choices a character makes. Whatever choice a character make impact future installments of the series. So in a way this would be my anti-MCU in Power Rangers forum where the consequences wont be glossed over cause they play a part in the story one way or another.

Another factor I'll explore is the nobody is safe factor. With Power Rangers you don't always get a sense of tension because at the end of the day the good guys will be fine. However I remember when they killed the Pink Ranger in Lost Galaxy that was a real jaw hitting the floor moment. Yet the important element of what makes a great hero is overcoming obstacles and tragedy

Which honestly drives the theme of the series home. No matter what horrible tragedy or obstacle gets them down, like a Phoenix they will rise back up.
