If there is a movie I'd consider to be a timeless classic then Evil Dead Trilogy would be it. I'd like to say that Evil Dead was Buffy in a sense that they both take a horror concept that is the final girl and completely flips it into a refreshing direction. And they both played with the Chosen One theme alot.
In Hail To The King its a bit of a semi-sequel/crossover fic where it takes place several decades after Army of Darkness.
The Story
We all remember the ending of Army of Darkness and that iconic quote at the end but what exactly happened to Ash afterwards? Well there wasn't any ticker taped parade or anykind of appreciation for his accomplishments. Ash remains in a steady job at S-Mart and enjoying his little "retirement" once things got quiet. Then a high ranking official of an private agency called The Initiative recruits him to assist in combating supernatural forces. So Ash is once again thrown in the thick of things
Having watched the series Ash vs Evil Dead that also takes place several decades since the original movie its version of Ash is a survivalist yet while on a bit of a dense side. However with my version of Ash he became a little more Guile in terms of survival. Not in a super genius aspect but mostly the kind of guy that will use any means to survive and sometimes he'd just make up things on the fly. The Ash in this story is still the same deadpan snarker we all know and love but he's also a bit more gruff and a little cold.
An interesting aspect to his character is that he's currently ageless thanks to falling in a lake that gave him eternal youth. To him he's never aware of that and just consider the ageless part as a side effect of traveling back in time. While he looks young he has the mindset of a hardened veteran
He's not what one would be considered a superhero or a hero period. He doesn't go out of his way to look for fighting supernatural threats but most of the time he has to: either its because the supernatural threats comes to him or to save someone from it.
The Characters
He isn't alone in the fight against evil. He has an partner named Whistler who is an immortal with a very mysterious past.
Another one is Gia, a young woman whom Ash met by chance and plays a key part in the main story Ash is involved in.
Death acts sort of as Ash's spirit guide and quite frankly is one of the few friends Ash has got.
Amanda Waller: The person who recruited Ash and is, in his own words, the "The Forbidden Fruit"
Antagonist
While he hasn't interacted with them personally they still pose as a potential conflict with Ash as the story progress.
Spike/Drusilla/Christine: The Unholy Trio that has formed an odd unholy union. They're vicious and at times unpredictable. While they don't have much of a history with Ash they do have their own individual history with The Immortal known as Whistler.

City of Adventures: Haven City District
The Busy City, a that consist of roughly six districts: downtown, north haven, south haven, west haven, midtown, and Stull. Each of these districts have defining characteristics that help make Haven the city that it is.
Downtown
A section of Haven City, much like other sections of Haven, has its own little culture that differs from the other sections of Haven. The building structures resemble those of the 50’s: the cars that cruise down the street, stylish as they are, look like they belong in the 60’s than the current decade, with the civilians in clothing that belong in the 30’s/40’s. Undoubtly one of the most retroist city in Haven.
North Haven
The Central Area of Haven City features ultra-modern buildings, many of them created by Amadeus Wolf. The remaining buildings in the city use the finest modern construction methods and materials. Its also a place where the rich and upper-class of Haven live and where the tourist who are among the upper-class visit.
Midtown
The central area of Haven City bounded by the monorail lines. Among other things it is the largest downtown residential area and feature a number of high-rise apartment buildings and condominiums.

When Worlds Collide: Other Heroes And Associates
Zatanna: Magician when off the clock and superhero when on the clock. Zatanna is the daughter of Giovanni Zatara and Wanda Maximoff, also making her the Granddaughter of Magneto. Whom hardly got a chance to get to know as her mother left when she was a baby. Given who she is and her enemies its for a good reason. Eventhough Wanda regrets it.
One of John Constantine's oldest friends, whom are still alive anyway, who'd help in teaching a teen Bruce in the manners of The Occult.
With Zatanna her superhero career is more than just fighting criminals and supervillains but keeping the world safe from dangerous supernatural threats. Which is why she's looking at forming a team capable of combating said threats.
The X-Men: The Children of Atom and allies of The League. In fact some even went on to become members of The League(Jean for instance). Whenever there is a crisis they got The League's back and vice versa. When not being allies with The League they're continuing their own fight against their arch nemesis The Hellfire Club.
Lex Luthor: Heir to the company known as Luthor Corp. A young man whom desperately doesn't want to fall in the shady footsteps of his father, Lionel Luthor. He's more of an guile hero in this version and is a childhood friend of Olivia Queen.
Amanda Waller: Director of ARGUS and protege of Nick Fury. A woman who has had her hands dipped in just about every super event while pulling the strings to ensure the world remains protected. By any means necessary.
Pete Wisdom(Sebastian Shaw II): Agent of MI13 who wants to atone for his past crimes as a member of the Hellfire Club. Like his canon counterpart, he has a tendency to wear suits, smoke and snark. As of recently he's the bodyguard of the Queen family along with Diggle.
