My Version of Agents of SHIELD

Since everyone has done their share of fix fics, including my bro Guy. Go check out his version of X-Men. It's in the development process but looks promising.

And as the title suggest I thought I'd do one of my own. Now the MCU has had a lot of problems. And I mean a lot of problems. But one, series, in particular, I felt dropped the ball big time was Agents of SHIELD. It had so much promise but ended up being just....meh.

It ended up being a series with bland characters nobody gives a flip about with even much blander villains. Combine the bland and you just have a Boring Smoothie. But let's see if I can do it better.

To start things off lets talk about where the series start off? I'm going to go and say after the events of the first Avengers movie. Thanks to the events of the first Avengers movie the world has been changed in a big way and there is that lingering question that the government representatives have always wondered. What if there is no Avengers to protect the world from threats such as the first movie? Or what if The Avengers fell? Or worse, what if they went rogue? Not my words on the latter but more the governments, yet they're dicks so. The World Security Council assigned Fury to establish a special task force to not only look out for potential super threats but also take said threats out. A Shadow Initiative.

This is where the main character comes in Maria Hill.

Not Agent Coulson because he's dead. In my version Coulson dying is the first major death because in my version deaths actually matter. That and Whedon originally wanted Coulson to remain dead anyways. But the question is, why Maria Hill?

Much like Coulson she has been there since the beginning and is another individual that The Avengers are familiar with. Also in my version her and Coulson are friends. More like Text Buddies since their line of work doesn't give them enough time to be together. Outside of the fact that she's capable of leading a SHIELD team she also wanted to honor her fallen comrade.

She's not alone. The WSC wants a co-leader and while Fury appointed Maria as No.1 the No.2 is none other than....

For one this explains where in the hell Hawkeye has been and it would quell the whole "Hawkeye is useless" complaints. One thing I'll change about him. While I don't mind the fact that he has a family in AOU I just find the fact of him having a secret family to be a little out of character. Cause I really don't see him having a big family, due to his lifestyle. That is part of the reasons why he and Natasha get along so well. So the concept of him having a family is out.

This will have the fun spy adventures of Kingsman, with the over the top WTF of the later Furious films, with a little bit of Archer.

The purpose of AOS is to use this as a vehicle to establish some world building and showcase the MCU through the eyes of espionage. Rather than piggyback off the films like canon. This will be its own thing as it develops.

My Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Reboot

Sup! Today I'm going to discuss a potential project that I might end up doing down the road. It's a reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I have followed just about every TMNT incarnation, yes even that dreadful live action TV Series. I've read bits and pieces of the original comics but haven't fully explored it. So I've decided why not try my hand at it?

The Setting

It's based in Manhattan, New York and this is a complete reimaging of the TMNT Mythos. Much like how The Dark Knight Trilogy was a reimaging of The Batman Mythos. So it is not going to be one of those reboots that tells the same story but in an updated version. This takes a more different spin on the TMNT Mythos.

The Plot

The Turtles have operated in the shadows, as part of their training as Ninjas. They have one particular rule that each of them followed. Never interact with humans. But suppose one Turtle happens to break that rule?

April's the first human that one of the turtles interacted with and that one happens to be Raphael. And after the panic from that first encounter died down the two started to bond a little. Especially when April was investigating the shady underdealings of TGRI and Baxter wanted to "silence" her so he sends in the Purple Dragons. So the two of them start to have a common enemy because TGRI holds some vital information about where he and his family came from. Also, he needs his brothers because he's aware that he couldn't take on TGRI and Baxter by himself. Eventually, he introduce April to his brothers. Naturally, they were surprised by this but once they hear Raph's side of the story they're intrigued in wanting to know about the investigation. With Mikey ship teasing the hell out of Raph and April, much to Raph's irritation.

The Antagonist

Baxter Stockman is the Disc One Final Boss. With the Purple Dragons acting as The Dragons. There will be hints of The Foot and The Shredder but as for now, they're more like The Dreaded as The Foot will only be used when Baxter feels there is no other option or when The Turtles are becoming more of a threat.

Rating

PG-13 but in a Dark Knight Trilogy style of PG-13.

This is going to be written in prose. It's also going to be done in a trilogy format. The first arc is dealing with Baxter & The Purple Dragons, The Second Arc is Shredder & The Foot, The 3rd is Krang & Dimension X. And i can promise you. None of that beam in the sky BS as far as the latter go.
